Decluttering Today: People Who Are A Burden In Your Life

Charlie Chaplin is one of the most influential comedians of the 20th century. As an actor, scriptwriter, director and composer, he has brought happiness to millions of people. However, Chaplin had to endure hard blows of fate: his father died of alcoholism, he spent his childhood at the orphanage. After I did some research on him, I found out that he was a very wise man. He applied some rules of minimalism to his personal surroundings!

Chaplin held a speech on April 16,1959, saying words that will touch your heart. When you read this, you can understand why he could still radiate such infinite abundance and positive energy:

"As I began to love myself, I freed myself of anything that is not good for my health –

food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself.

At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is LOVE OF ONESELF."

It's super easy to leave an unpleasant situation, such as a bad date or a boring birthday party – but what about relationships that are dragging you down? Check your intimate relationships and make sure that the scale of giving and not giving is well-balanced on a long-term basis. You only have a limited amount of time and energy, so spend it wisely.

There is no need for a bad conscience! When you live in a dysfunctional relationship or a toxic friendship, throw it out of your life catalogue. Every relationship must enrich your life or at least brighten it up by a few nuances.

Chaplin says so:

"As I began to love myself, I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth."

Let's get rid of annoying people and live the best version of our lives!

Love,

Andrea
